Collective Protection Equipment Training Cours
4 - 5 HOURS50 PEOPLELOW DIFFICULTY
Work at height belongs among the most hazardous activities in the workplace. To prevent accidents and ensure maximum safety, employees must not only be equipped with the proper protective systems, but also trained to use them correctly.
This course focuses on familiarizing workers with collective protection equipment, which protects multiple people at once — for example guardrails, safety nets, scaffolding or opening covers. Participants will learn how these systems work, when and how to use them, and how to inspect their condition.
The course also includes Ladder Safety Training, based on occupational health and safety regulations in the Czech Republic (Act No. 262/2006 Coll. – Labour Code, Sections 101–108, and Act No. 309/2006 Coll. on further OSH requirements). The content is further specified in Government Regulation No. 362/2005 Coll., focusing on professional competence for work at height and above free depth when using ladders up to 5 m — without the need for fall arrest PPE.
The aim of this training is to ensure that workers can safely perform tasks at height using collective protection systems, identify risks, and understand the differences between collective protection equipment, personal protective equipment, and work equipment such as ladders or platforms.
This course does not authorize participants to perform work at height using personal fall-arrest PPE.
