THE CHALLENGE WE ACCEPTED
The climbing course for students of the Secondary Forestry School and Secondary Vocational School in Šluknov was designed not only as part of their practical training but also as an opportunity to develop physical skills, teamwork, and experience adventure in nature. The goal was to connect practice with real-life experience and offer activities that motivate students and push their limits.
EVENT OVERVIEW
During the course, students learned the basics of climbing, belaying, and movement in the rocky terrain of the Tiské Walls under the supervision of experienced instructors. The program was designed so every participant could find their own challenge and gradually gain confidence in climbing techniques. The course also included an evening activity focused on rescuing an injured person from the rocks, giving students insight into real crisis situations and their possible solutions. The entire course took place in a friendly atmosphere, with students appreciating both the instructors’ expertise and their approachability and ability to motivate improvement.
